@laura First- I am LMOA at the Flying Spaghetti Monster & Pastafarians. You rock!

Second- Situations like what happened to you in the grocery store are exactly why I was willing to let go of my regular day job and look for my real purpose in life. Even if I have to be Fatima for a while, I know that I'm finally on the path I want to walk.

More importantly, I think everyone can find the right path with a little courage. Unfortunately, some people might have to take the box off their head and look around first. Its a hard choice, but a worthwhile step. :)

to Sunny: No... that's just the recommendation of the religion of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. We Pastafarians know what we're talking about!

I recall a moment, just before I got my current job, when I was faced with choosing between a HORRIBLE job situation or having NO income. I ran into my local Walgreen's, where I knew a cashier was friendly and super religious (I'm not the latter) and asking her, "Gawd wants me to be happy, right?!?" She said, "Yes, baby." and that was what I needed to take my leap. I turned down the horrible job - and the steps that led me to this one came out of nowhere just a few days later.

I like to say, "everything works out for the best - it just rarely does it in the timeframe that we want."

@Sunny Haha. You know, I had a few other comments about wine (or Chianti specifically) to go with their leap of faith. :)
